Zoom Hatha Yoga Classes

In these one hour virtual practice sessions Cindy will lead you in a step by step progression from one yoga pose (asana) to the next with a focus on correct alignment to build stability (sthira) while maintaining a steady and comfortable connection to the breath (sukha). Sequences are designed to enhance blood circulation and oxygenation to the body's soft tissues and organs, to warm and lubricate the joints, while also increasing strength and endurance. The result is a feeling of physical relaxation, mental clarity and emotional calm.

Wednesdays from 3 to 4 pm

Beginners are welcome.

If you do not have any yoga experience, or if you would like more detailed instruction on poses and breathing techniques the Foundations of Yoga Practice Manual will be helpful.

Intermediate Hatha Flow

Tuesday evenings

from 7:30 to 8:30 pm

This is an intermediate level class.

It is appropriate for anyone who is healthy, active, with no recent health challenges or surgery.

Previous yoga experience may be helpful but is not required
