Zoom Hatha Yoga Classes

Yoga and Health classes begin with a short centering meditation. Students are then led through a series of poses (asanas) that build both strength and flexibility. Classes end with a short savasana or yogic rest.

Even if you have practiced yoga before, please pay close attention to alignment cues given by the instructor; maintain a slow and steady breath; and do not do anything that causes pain.

The meeting room will open 10 minutes prior to class time so that you can check in and be ready to start on time. 

The meeting room will be closed when the class begins, so please arrive a little early.

 

Gentle Yoga

5:15 to 6:15 pm

Starting August 4th

We begin with joint freeing series to warm up. New poses are taught with attention to alignment. Simple flows with attention to transitioning from one pose to another.

Bhakti Yoga Flow

Wednesday Mornings
8:00 to 9:00 am
Starting August 19

Full spectrum yoga flow. Variations of Sun and Moon salutations. Some time given to developing upper body and core strength. Background devotional and inspirational music will be used to create a meditative space for practice.

San Marcos Public Library Monthly Yoga Series

Second Wednesday of Every Month from 2:00 to 2:40 pm

A short practice based on principles of alignment that can be applied to all yoga poses and to everyday activities. Each week, basic poses will be taught in detail with attention to correct anatomical alignment. 

August 12, September 9, October 14, November 11, December 9

New Poses (Asanas) will be taught every month with attention to correct alignment.

At this time all Yoga and Classes are free and a gift to our beloved community.  If you have the means, please pay it forward by donating to individuals or families in need or organizations that support families in need.
