Weekly Hatha Yoga Classes
All classes begin with yoga techniques to draw attention inward and focus the mind on the breath and the body. Time is then spent systematically warming up muscles and joints. Yoga asanas (postures) are chosen to meet the needs of the students with a focus on proper alignment for the individual's normal range of motion. Once proper alignment is demonstrated, the class is led through a series of poses that flow one from another. All classes end with deep therapeutic relaxation or yoga nidra.

Wednesday Mornings 9 to 10:30
This class began two years ago with a group of people dedicated to incorporating yoga into their lives; and continues to grow as we welcome new members. The class begins with a centering meditation ~ the focus may be breathing, chanting, or poetry. We utilize an alignment based approach to new poses and then , incorporate what we have learned into a flow.
The focus is on balancing strength and flexibility, improving posture and alignment,
and deeply nourishing body mind and spirit.
